Some of the services we offer are:

Inventory Planning

The requirement of setting up a Steel plant will be different than that of setting up a Refinery. Some customers want only Brass cages while the Mining industry has bearings that have special clearance. It is impossible to plan and stock 100% of any customer’s requirement since everyone has limited capital.

We at East India Bearing Co. (P) Ltd. understand the customer’s requirement by studying their consumption, current plants and machinery and try to identify their problematic bearings. Based on their feedback, we plan and stock bearings at our end which will ensure that they get most of the critical bearings on time. We give lot of emphasis on planning as this is the KEY to bearing trade and supply.

Annual Rate Contract

Almost all the bearing dealers offer Annual rate contracts to their customers. What makes us different?

Well to start with, we propose ARC for minimum of 2 years which gives our customers a big window of stable pricing and helps them to even plan for the long delivery bearings too. Further we immune our customers with Currency fluctuations (which is very common for Japanese Yen) by our ARC and support them even when the currency movement is not in our favor. Our ARC has been very successful with our customers and it ensures seamless way of ordering and managing bearing requirement.

Sourcing Hard to find Bearings

Often customers get stuck with extremely Odd or Old or special kind of bearing for replacement. We help them to source these kind of bearings from International dealer market, OEM’s or even approach NTN / Revolvo to produce them specially for our customers. This kind of service ensures that our customers are not stranded half way of their operation.

Help Customers Identify Equivalents

Sometimes your excavator breaks down due to a bearing failure. You open it and cannot find any bearing number or reference. Further, the only information you have is of the part number. Your OEM quotes you the price which is more painful than the loss from the breakdown. What can you do?

Come to us! We will help you locate a 100% EXACT equivalent to the part number and supply them to you at the most reasonable price. Your machine is back to business while you have saved substantially from our experience.

Just In Time Delivery

For our OEM customers situated near our warehouse, we also stock bearings for them and schedule supplies as per their production plan to their factories so that they don’t need to block their precious capital and enjoy seamless supplies for bearings, seals or any other products.

Bearing Bank

A step further from ARC, we offer customers bearing bank facility at their site. We propose to stock their fast moving bearings at their stores on consignment basis. The customer pays us when they use the bearings and we replenish the inventory bi-monthly of the bearing bank.

The value of stock is usually 10%-20% of the total bearing consumption annually and covers most of the common sizes. This is very practical and useful for customers having plant in remote locations where delivery lead time is high due to time taken for transportation. However it is only possible to offer this if your annual bearing requirement is over 50 Lakh.

Failure Analysis

With support from NTN’s and Eriks’s technical team, we explore the causes of repeated failure of any bearing of our customer and offer solutions which can prevent future failure. At the same time we study the application and offer our suggestion which can reduce recurring failure.
